Liverpool band The Lotus Eaters will be returning to their hometown on Saturday 25th July 2009 to play a special live concert at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall in Hope Street. The evening will be a celebration of their cult album, No Sense of Sin, released in 1984 and fans will also be able to hear an exclusive preview of songs from their forthcoming new album, A Plug-in Called Nostalgia.
Original band members Jem Kelly, Peter Coyle and Stephen Emmer will be performing on stage with a full band and string section, and will be accompanied by a backdrop of projected photographic and moving image to give an intimate and luminescent mood to the show.
This is a one-off performance in the UK and a unique opportunity to see The Lotus Eaters play such classics as Set Me Apart and It Hurts as well being the first chance to hear them perform their new single, a reworking of their top twenty hit, The First Picture of You.
